What is Chromoly? As specified by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Alloying elements include chromium and molybdenum. They have an excellent strength to weight ratio, and are considerably stronger than standard 1020 steel. Almost every other bike offered at this price is made from 1020 Steel, not the DK Helio. Chromoly tubing makes this bike the strongest in its class. Add a sealed Mid bottom bracket with tubular chromoly cranks with authentic DK plastic pedals, you cant find a better bike for the price.
